Catching up

We had the most marvellous day on Saturday, Abby turned one and we had a family get together to celebrate. Mostly it was extended family, which was really lovely. The kids all got on well together and we had it in the playground at Roma Street Parklands. One of the nicest parts about living in Brisbane is that we have plenty of family here, for to many years we have lived away from family.... it gives a sense of belonging, that has previously been absent. Thank you Suzy and Odette for all your hard work, it was so well organised and I think that everyone had a great time.

It is lovely for the grandchildren as well, as they know that they have cousins and they look forward to seeing them. Though on Saturday I know that Olivia missed Isabella, a little cousin who could not make it. I will get around to posting photos over the next few weeks.

that's one thing I love about the fact my Brother in Law got another transfer with his work - and that they all got to move to toowoomba for Mackay - an hour away is much better then 14!!! Love having my girls much closer :)
