Saturday morning
It is hard when you are an early morning person and you are waiting for the rest of the sleepy heads in your family to get moving. They are sitting around drinking coffee and reading the early morning papers, I did that hours ago. I am now waiting and what best to do than to surf the internet.
It is a grey overcast day here but cool, such a welcome relief after the hot stickness of Brisbane. We plan to head to the Murray River today, to have a look at it. It has been cleaned up and not knowing my geography really well..... this is where it flows out to the ocean, so we sure see it at its best.
I will take plenty of photos. I still seriously have laptop envy, there is a dude sitting at the coffee bar just near by, as it is a wireless hotspot and he has one of those small notebooks. Beautiful!Did you know that this is the first city in Australia with free internet hotspots all over the city. Great.

Just wait till he's not looking, spike his coffee, pick up the laptop and RUN!!! (Psst ... only joking, but wouldn't it be nice to have a fanchy smanchy laptop on your holiday???) Glad you're having fun!

sounds like a lovely holiday, enjoy! Give Dad and Jess a huge hug for me.
I'm in Batticaloa today, setting up the last of the exhibiitions. the team is so good they have done most of the work. Only here though and then going to a friends wedding in Anurdahapura, Umesha is meeting me they.

just re-read my message, my english is so bad today. I'm here to Friday, when I head to the wedding.
also wanted to let you know I'm using a wireless connection. This means I'm typing on my laptop on the second floor of the office, with cool breezes overlooking the river... lovely, no? xo
