Another One
Penny found her nieces fascinating; they were so little last year when she was home. Now they have very distinct personality and ways. She enjoyed getting to know, and laughed about many of the things they said or did. Pen and Liv got on particular well, as Liv has such an alert mind and wants to know as much as she can, so Pen had a few questions to answers and experiences to share.

Papers from 'Oh Baby' ans sewing from 'Riya's Blessing'.

We are all sad!
Pen left yesterday to go back to Sri Lanka. It never gets any easier to say 'goodbye', we all loved having her home so much. The last time that we saw her was last April, has she changed, just a little, she has become a little more world aware and understands more how things work....the good and the bad. This has meant an change in her wisdom amd personal judgement. It means that she knows how to put to put limits on others behaviours and how it will effect her. She is and always will be a the most beautiful person; it was just so wonderful to have her for a week.

A layout
This is Abby at the delightful age of looking and being curious about things. It is wonderful to be in the same city as Suzy, Adam, Liv and Abby. I get to see them lots and I love watching them grow. I am blessed.

Great news
I got a short term contract yesterday, It is a two day a week position working in a TAFE library, there is a little bit of web-development involved in the job. I am so pleased. I'm a creature of habit and love to know that I'm doing this on this day. It is only for three months, by the end of that time I should know if I like this kind of work.
The other news is that I have a new kit. It is called 'A June Day'. It is the warm fresh colours of a summer cottage garden, which one day I'm going to have. I have always loved cottage gardens, I find them so beautifukl with their mixeture of flowers.

I have included plenty of sewing in this kit, I know how much people like them. My favourite part is the raggity flowers......they are great fun.

Remiss
In the rush to get things ready for SweetShoppe Designs I didn't share my new kit with you. I love it, it has such soft colours. The kit is called 'Sweet Jane'. There was a girl at school called Jane, a gentle, kind person....when she walked past you there was a sweet scent of flowers. She loved wearing sheer, flowing florals and with her jet black hair sitting perfectly on her shoulders……she was my ideal picture of being female. The following are layouts done by Suzy and Peta using the kit. TFl

The photo is of Olivia and Abby, aren't they both beautiful. The kit is 'Sweet Jane'

This layout is of Peta's two friends. The kit is 'Sweet Jane'.
They are both such lovely layouts.

Sweet One
I saw my grand-daughter last weekend in Canberra. She had turned one on the Thursday before and on the Saturday there was the most beautiful blessing ceremony for her, it had been four months since I had seen her. She had changed so much, she no longer a little baby, but she is a sweet little girl who is starting to walk. Riya has the nickname ’Pocket-Rocket’ and I can see why, she is so energetic. It made me realize how much I had missed her.
I have made a new kit called Riya’s Blessing, the colours in it are very vibrant and bright…like her.
