What colour green are you....

A little bit of fun.

You Are Teal Green

You are a one of a kind, original person. There's no one even close to being like you.

Expressive and creative, you have a knack for making the impossible possible.

While you are a bit offbeat, you don't scare people away with your quirks.

Your warm personality nicely counteracts and strange habits you may have.

What Color Green Are You?

I will be off line for a while, as I am having a little time away.

My blog is still a mess.

I don't want to take the time off designing at the moment to fix it up.....so please bear with it a little longer.
I have a new paper pack up in the Sweet shoppe Designs, Suzy requested soft, pastel colours ....do you think that I succeeded?

I had a great day yesterday, my two sisters caught the train up from the Gold Coast. My older sister is just starting to scrapbook, I did warn her that it is an addiction. LOL. I showed her how to use Publisher, she is great, she is playing around with the computer and is learning all the time.

Don't forget the Aussie chat on tonight at DigiScrap Diva at eight o'clock Queensland time.

I hope that you haven't been watching.

I decided that I wanted three columns, like Suzy's blog. Well I started to play around without saving anything first.....Mistake Number One. I did it on the real thing I should have done it on a copy........ Number Two. I though that I knew enough HTML to do it, I was mistaken.
So I have set the original templates back up that I downloaded from the web. I have to do a lot of repairs on it but this will do for the time being.
I am still not happy with the fact that I don't have three columns but maybe I will leave that problem for a little longer. LOL.

So I hope that you didn't see all that rubbish over the last couple of days.

Wow Judy I saw that you commented....that is great. Well done. I will write soon.

I have lost the page that all the beautiful layouts were on for the competition, that will have to be my first job.

This is a scraplift of Jela's work on Two Peas. I need help these days, while I have no trouble designing papers etc, I'm having trouble doing layouts.

Well done everyone the layouts were so wonderful. Thank you all for taking part in the competition, it was fun and I will do it again. I will send the links to the kit over the next day.

Saturday over...........

This is the first time I have really been on the computer today. Decided to have a day of doing other things, I had the most wonderful hour with my two beautiful grand-daughters while Suzy went and got Adam. Olivia chatted to me the whole time, she has such remarkable verbal skills , she was telling me about her week. She said such interesting things and is willing and able to tell you how she feels about things. Abby was happy just joining in and potting around. She chats on but you don't really get to understand much of what she says.......but I have the feeling that she is going to be a little chatterbox as well.

Then Jess and I went to look at houses. We have a long tradition in our house of me looking at the houses and if I find one I like then I take Graham back. I think that it is more self protection on my part....as I want to really like the house before I show it to him. Now I'm not saying that he will settle for anything but you get the idea. Anyway we looked at five houses and liked different things about each of them but found something very wrong about each one. Anyway next week is another week and there is no shortage of houses for sale.

I have been so impressed by the layouts that the wonderful ladies have done that have entered into my competition. They have all been very beautiful. I would like to share with you the very first one entered by Tracey......it is a great layout, I love how Tracey has used the circles.

Are there any other takers for the magazines other than Suzy because the ones that Suzy doesn't take I will take to college and put on the 'give-away' desk. Please if you want them then let me know.

Need a new home....

I have been cleaning up my work-room, although you still can't see the surface of the table. I have decided to give away all my 'Scrapbooking Memories' magazines. I have about three years worth. If anyone would like them you are welcome to them....you just have to pay for the postage.

Kind of quiet!

Sorry that my blog gets kind of quiet around the end of the week. At the moment I am working the last three days of the work and by the time I do the normal everyday tasks there is not much time left.

I'm really pleased with the paper pack that I am designing for the competition, I love the colors and although the first paper is dark they are not all like that. I'm posting the first one as a tempter. The colors are beautiful in this pack and I’m sure that you will enjoy it.

A boy kit

I haven't done a boy kit, so I decided that it was time to do one. It is called 'ZOOM ZOOM', I noticed the little boys at school the other day had made a car track with hills etc in the bottom of the playground. They were having such a good time.

A quick note.

I'm running out the door in a minute to go get Jess from art. I think that is all parents are good for sometimes......running children around. Although she does love her art lessons so I should not complain.
I just wanted to give a hint that something exciting is going to happen on my blog soon. Keep watching, better still leave a comment, I would love to know who reads my blog.
Got to go......talk to you soon.

My computer clanking.

I decided that I had better do an entry in my blog as I listen to my hard drive clanking and groaning. I have two disk drives ....one mirroring the other and one of them has died. Sad. It is a new computer. Dell said that they would come and fix it but you have to be home and I'm working for the next two days.

I love my new job, it is only temporary and for two days a week. I find it such a culture change from teaching.....no one takes work home, most people run things pass the boss or get others' advice (this is a thing that you don't do in teaching, you are independent and mostly don't check with other people) and you can have a cup of tea when ever you feel like it. The people are really great and I got my first pay check. The money is nothing like teaching but it is good for a change and I'm am learning heaps. The people are really great and in for a chat. That is another thing about teaching, you are surrounded by kids not adults. Though I do love being surrounded by kids.

I would also like to share my new kit with you. It is being released tomorrow at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I named it 'homecoming' as a memory of Pen coming home.

Mood

I have decided that I have to be in the mood to blog. My excuse this time is that Jess and I have been sick. I would say that it is just a head cold but then there were other symptons. These days the bugs that you get seem stronger or maybe it is just old age creeping up.

Have I raved about the movie 'Walk the Line'. I was so pleased to see that Reese Witherspoon got best actress as she did a mighty job in this movie.....I didn't know that she could sing so well. I loved the music, the clothing and the era itself. So I made a paper pack called 'Oh Baby', one of my favourite lines from the movie.

Below I have shared some of the wonderful layouts that my very talented team did with 'Oh Baby'.
